- 1 loaf French baguette or Italian bread, sliced into rounds
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, thyme, red pepper flakes, sea salt, and black pepper.
- Stir well and let the mixture sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
- If using balsamic vinegar, drizzle it over the oil mixture just before serving.
- Meanwhile, lightly toast the bread rounds in the oven or on a grill until golden and crisp.
- Serve the herb and garlic olive oil dip in a shallow dish with the warm bread rounds on the side for dipping.
