- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade, for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, stir together melted butter and brown sugar until combined and smooth.
- Whisk in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Add flour, baking powder, and salt; stir until just combined.
- Fold in white chocolate chips and chopped macadamia nuts.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan before drizzling with caramel sauce.
- Cut into bars and serve.
Notes
- For extra gooeyness, slightly underbake and let them firm up as they cool.
- Use toasted macadamia nuts for added flavor.
- Drizzle caramel just before serving for best texture.
