For the Chicken Wraps:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for garnish)
- 4 large tortillas
For the Creamy Cheese Sauce:
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season diced chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 6–8 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Set aside.
- Make the Cheese Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes. Whisk in flour and cook for another 1–2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk, then stir in mozzarella and cheddar cheese until smooth. Season to taste.
- Assemble Wraps: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Divide chicken among tortillas, roll tightly, and place seam-side down in a baking dish.
- Bake: Pour cheese sauce over wraps, garnish with cheddar cheese, and bake for 10–12 minutes until bubbly.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before serving with your favorite sides.
