Description

These buttery, melt-in-your-mouth snowball cookies are made with sweetened condensed milk, giving them an irresistibly soft texture. A dusting of powdered sugar makes them look like little snowballs, perfect for holidays or any special occasion!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cream butter & milk: In a large bowl, beat the butter and sweetened condensed milk until light and fluffy.
  • Mix dry ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, and salt.
  • Combine & form dough: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  • Shape the cookies: Roll tablespoon-sized portions of dough into balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are set but not browned.
  • Cool & dust: Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes, then roll them in powdered sugar while still warm.
  • Serve & enjoy!

Notes

  • The cornstarch helps create a delicate, melt-in-your-mouth texture.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • You can add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for extra warmth.
