- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 lb scallops or crab meat
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 4 round bread loaves, hollowed out
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp and scallops, cook until just opaque and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Pour heavy cream into the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella cheese until melted and sauce is creamy.
- Return cooked seafood to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and stir gently to coat in sauce.
- Brush the inside of hollowed bread bowls with olive oil and bake for 5 minutes to crisp up.
- Spoon seafood filling into each bread bowl.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and additional cheese if desired. Serve hot.
