Description

This stuffed salmon recipe features tender, flaky salmon fillets filled with creamy spinach and gooey melted cheese. Pan-seared for a crispy crust and baked to perfection, it’s a restaurant-quality dish you can make at home in just 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  • In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and spinach, cooking until wilted.
  • Remove from heat and mix in cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
  • Slice a pocket in each salmon fillet without cutting all the way through.
  • Stuff the salmon with the spinach-cheese mixture.
  • Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon for 2 minutes per side.
  • Transfer to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Drizzle with lemon juice and serve hot.

Notes

  • Swap mozzarella for feta for a tangier taste.
  • Use frozen spinach (thawed and drained) if fresh isn’t available.
  • Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes.
