Description

This moist and sweet strawberry honeybun cake is infused with a rich honey flavor and topped with a creamy strawberry icing for a perfect fruity dessert.


Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup honey

For the Icing:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp strawberry puree
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
  • Mix cake ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
  • Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool.
  • For the icing, mix powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and heavy cream.
  • Pour over the cooled cake and let set before slicing.
