Description

These Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls are a delightful twist on the classic! Soft, fluffy rolls filled with cinnamon-sugar and fresh strawberries, topped with a luscious cream cheese glaze. Perfect for breakfast or dessert!


Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg

For the Filling:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (diced)

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let sit for 5 minutes.
    • Add sugar, butter, salt, and egg. Gradually mix in flour to form a soft dough.
    • Knead for 5 minutes, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
  2. Make the Filling:
    • Mix butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon into a paste.
  3. Assemble the Rolls:
    • Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
    • Spread cinnamon butter and sprinkle diced strawberries over it.
    • Roll up tightly and cut into 12 pieces.
  4. Bake:
    • Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
    • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Make the Glaze & Serve:
    • Whisk cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
    • Drizzle over warm rolls and enjoy!
