- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with foil.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, vinegar, paprika, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Place chicken thighs in the baking dish and pour the honey mixture over them, turning to coat evenly.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, basting once or twice during cooking, until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is caramelized and sticky.
- For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2–3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions and serve hot.
