- 2 racks pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 4 servings French fries (frozen or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove membrane from back of ribs. Pat dry, then rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder.
- Place ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet. Cover with foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar. Simmer for 10 minutes until thickened.
- Remove ribs from oven, brush with BBQ glaze, and broil for 5–7 minutes until sticky and caramelized.
- Prepare fries according to package directions or homemade method.
- Slice ribs and serve with fries on the side.
Notes
- Use beef ribs for variation, adjusting cooking time as needed.
- Add cayenne or hot sauce to the glaze for heat.
- For a smoky flavor, use a smoker instead of the oven.
- Bake ribs the day before and glaze before serving for easier prep.
