- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 12 oz pasta (fusilli, penne, or your choice)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or chives
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season steak cubes with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your preference. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic and onion until softened and fragrant, about 2–3 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta and steak back into the skillet. Toss to combine and heat through.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley or chives and Parmesan cheese if using.
- Serve hot with extra red pepper flakes if desired.
