- 8 large romaine or butter lettuce leaves
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup spicy mayo or chipotle sauce
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red onion; sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and chili powder. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Wash and thoroughly dry lettuce leaves. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix mayo with chipotle or hot sauce to your preferred spice level.
- Spoon portions of the cooked beef into each lettuce leaf.
- Top with a drizzle of spicy mayo, cherry tomatoes, red onion slices, and chopped green onions.
