Description

A flavor-packed pasta dish featuring tender chicken, bold garlic, herbs, and a touch of spice. This satisfying meal is perfect for weeknight dinners with minimal effort and maximum taste.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz penne or spaghetti pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or basil

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Stir in Italian seasoning and chicken broth. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and add the cooked pasta. Toss everything together until well coated.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs.
  8. Serve warm with extra Parmesan and herbs if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust red pepper flakes for preferred spice level.
  • Add a splash of cream for a richer version.
  • Great with gluten-free pasta as well.
