- 1 lb ground beef or thinly sliced beef strips
- 8 oz wide rice noodles or egg noodles
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 3 scallions, sliced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1–2 tbsp chili garlic sauce or Sriracha (to taste)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- Optional: red pepper flakes, lime wedges, fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
- Add garlic and ginger; sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, chili garlic sauce or Sriracha, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Add the cooked noodles and toss until evenly coated and heated through.
- Top with scallions and optional chili flakes.
- Serve hot with lime wedges and cilantro if desired.
