- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 cup cooked steak, diced

- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for searing)

Instructions
- Season steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Sear in a skillet with olive oil until browned. Set aside to cool.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream butter and eggs. Gradually add flour, baking powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix until dough forms.
- Fold in half the shredded cheese.
- Shape dough into tablespoon-sized balls and flatten slightly on baking sheet.
- Press 2–3 steak pieces into each cookie and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley or chives if desired. Serve warm.
