Description

Savory Steak and Cheese Cookies combine the rich flavors of seared beef, melted cheese, and herbs in a unique cookie-like appetizer perfect for parties or gourmet snacking.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb cooked steak, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix softened butter with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add in flour and mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, and chopped steak until a dough forms.
  5. Fold in fresh parsley if using.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and form into small flattened rounds on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use leftover steak or roast beef for convenience.
