- 1/2 lb cooked steak, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix softened butter with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add in flour and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, and chopped steak until a dough forms.
- Fold in fresh parsley if using.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and form into small flattened rounds on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use leftover steak or roast beef for convenience.
- Cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Best served warm or at room temperature.
