Description

Savory Ground Beef Patties with Sautéed Vegetables is a hearty and wholesome dish featuring juicy, seasoned beef patties paired with a colorful medley of sautéed vegetables. It’s a balanced, protein-rich meal perfect for a satisfying lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oil (for cooking patties)
  • 1 tablespoon oil or butter (for vegetables)
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers (red, yellow, green)
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 small carrot, julienned or thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste (for vegetables)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef with chopped onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper until just combined. Do not overmix.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side or until browned and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
  4. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil or butter. Add bell peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, and carrot. Sauté for 6–8 minutes until vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  5. Season vegetables with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve the beef patties with the sautéed vegetables on the side. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad to make it a complete meal.
  • Patties can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days before cooking.
