- 24 wonton wrappers
- 1 pound ground sausage
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease a mini muffin tin with cooking spray.
- Press a wonton wrapper into each muffin cup to form a shell.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, cream cheese, shredded cheddar, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
- Spoon the sausage mixture evenly into each wonton wrapper.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the wontons are golden and the filling is hot and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.

- Add crushed red pepper for heat.
- Use turkey sausage for a lighter version.
- Try different cheeses like Monterey Jack or mozzarella.
- Mix in sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers for variety.
