- 8 oz egg noodles or rice noodles
- 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (for marinating)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (for marinating)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, toss sliced beef with 2 tbsp soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Sear beef until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining oil to the pan. Sauté garlic, ginger, and bell pepper for 2-3 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and water to make the sauce.
- Add cooked noodles and beef back to the pan. Pour sauce over and toss everything to combine.
- Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until heated through and coated with sauce.
- Top with green onions and serve immediately.

- Use rice noodles for a gluten-free option.
- Add extra vegetables like mushrooms, carrots, or bok choy for more nutrition.
