Description

Saltine Toffee Chocolate Bark, aka “Christmas crack,” is a ridiculously easy, crunchy, sweet and salty treat layered with buttery toffee and chocolate—totally addictive!


Ingredients

  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers

  • 1 cup butter

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

  • Sea salt flakes (optional)

 

Instructions:


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with foil.

  • Lay saltines in a single layer.

  • Melt butter and sugar, boil for 3 minutes. Pour over crackers.

  • Bake for 5 minutes, then sprinkle chocolate chips. Let melt, then spread.

 

  • Add sea salt, chill, break into pieces.


Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

 

  • Try with graham crackers or Ritz for variety.
