Description

An elegant and creamy pistachio mousse dome with a cherry center, topped with fresh cherries and chopped pistachios for a stunning finish.


Ingredients

For the Pistachio Mousse:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup pistachio paste
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp gelatin powder (dissolved in 2 tbsp water)

For the Cherry Filling:

  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cherries, pitted
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (mixed with 1 tbsp water)

For the Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup white chocolate
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp green food coloring (optional)

For Garnish:

  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1/2 cup fresh cherries

Instructions

Prepare the Cherry Filling:

  1. In a small saucepan, cook cherries with sugar over medium heat until softened.
  2. Add cornstarch mixture and stir until thickened.
  3. Let cool and set aside.

Make the Pistachio Mousse:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream to soft peaks.
  2. Fold in melted white chocolate and pistachio paste.
  3. Gently mix in dissolved gelatin and sugar until smooth.

Notes

  • Use high-quality pistachio paste for the best flavor.
  • Make sure the domes are completely frozen before glazing.
  • Can be stored in the freezer for up to a week.
