  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 box (3 oz) lime gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
  • Pineapple slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Cake:

    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
    • Prepare the white cake mix as per the package instructions, using water, oil, and egg whites.
    • Pour into the baking dish and bake as directed. Let cool completely.
  • Make the Lime Layer:

    • Dissolve the lime gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water, then add 1/2 cup of cold water. Let it cool slightly.
    • Poke holes all over the cake with a fork and pour the gelatin evenly over the top. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Notes
