Flaky puff pastry rolls filled with a sweet, buttery pecan mixture, perfect as a quick dessert or brunch treat.

- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, salt, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix until fully combined.
- Unroll the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and spread the pecan filling evenly over it.
- Roll the pastry tightly into a log from the long edge.
- Slice into 12 even rolls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with a light egg wash.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or until the pastry is golden and puffed.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Drizzle with a simple powdered sugar glaze for extra sweetness.
- Toast the pecans beforehand for a deeper nutty flavor.
- These rolls are best enjoyed warm but can be reheated in an air fryer or oven.
