For the Flatbread:
- 1 store-bought or homemade flatbread crust
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set the oven to 400°F (200°C) and place the flatbread on a baking sheet.
- Assemble the Flatbread: Brush the flatbread with olive oil, then sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over it.
- Add Toppings: Arrange pear slices over the cheese, then sprinkle with crumbled gorgonzola, fresh thyme, and walnuts (if using).
- Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Finish with Honey: Drizzle with honey and season with a touch of black pepper before serving.
- Serve: Slice and enjoy warm!
