- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste

- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place salmon fillets skin-side up in the skillet and sear for 3–4 minutes without moving them.
- Flip the fillets and cook for another 3–4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from heat and let rest for a minute.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges and garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the Cajun seasoning to control the spice level.
- Serve with rice, roasted veggies, or a green salad for a complete meal.
- Use a cast-iron skillet for a crispier sear.
