Instructions

- Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 5–7 minutes until golden and moisture evaporates. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs if using.
- Toast the bread slices lightly.
- Arrange sautéed mushrooms on toasted bread.
- Top generously with cheese slices or shreds.
- Place under a broiler or in a hot oven until cheese melts and bubbles.
- Optionally drizzle with ketchup or tomato sauce, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve immediately.
