Description

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 5–7 minutes until golden and moisture evaporates. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs if using.
  4. Toast the bread slices lightly.
  5. Arrange sautéed mushrooms on toasted bread.
  6. Top generously with cheese slices or shreds.
  7. Place under a broiler or in a hot oven until cheese melts and bubbles.
  8. Optionally drizzle with ketchup or tomato sauce, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve immediately.
