- 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chunks

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chunks.
- Scoop out dough and flatten slightly. Place a square of baking chocolate in the center and form dough around it to seal.
- Arrange cookies on prepared baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set and centers are still soft.
- Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes before serving warm.
