- 1 loaf of French bread (or a round sourdough bread bowl)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup diced ham (or cooked bacon)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the bread bowl: Cut off the top of the bread and hollow out the center, leaving about 1-inch thick walls. Save the removed bread pieces for dipping.
- Make the dip mixture: In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar, mozzarella, ham, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings until fully combined. Stir in chopped green onions.
- Fill the bread bowl: Spoon the cheese mixture into the hollowed-out bread.
- Bake: Wrap the bread bowl in foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the dip is hot and bubbly.
- Garnish & serve: Remove from oven, sprinkle extra green onions on top, and serve with the reserved bread pieces, crackers, or chips.
Notes
- You can substitute ham with bacon, sausage, or shredded chicken for a different flavor.
- If you don’t have a bread bowl, bake the dip in a casserole dish.
- Serve with crackers, tortilla chips, or toasted baguette slices.
