- 1 lb ground sausage (pork, chicken, or turkey)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
- 12 slider buns
- 1 cup mixed greens (arugula, spinach, or lettuce)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise or aioli
- 1 tbsp Dijon or whole grain mustard (optional)
- Optional: sliced cheese, pickles, or caramelized onions
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground sausage with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Form into 12 small patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 3–4 minutes per side or until cooked through and browned.
- Toast the slider buns lightly, if desired.
- Spread mayonnaise or aioli on the bottom half of each bun. Add mustard if using.
- Place a sausage patty on each bun, then top with mixed greens and any optional toppings.
- Finish with the top half of the bun and serve warm.
Notes
- Use spicy sausage for added kick or mild for a kid-friendly version.
- Can be made ahead and kept warm in a low oven before serving.
- Great served with a side of coleslaw, chips, or roasted veggies.
