- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 12 mini pepperoni slices
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil, knead the dough, and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Shape the dough into small rounds and flatten slightly.
- Spread pizza sauce on each bun, add cheese, and top with pepperoni.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with oregano before serving.
Notes
- Add jalapeños for a spicy twist.
- Use whole wheat flour for a healthier version.
- These can be made ahead and frozen for later.
