Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer instructions.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients and stir until just mixed. Do not overmix.
- Cook the batter in the preheated waffle iron until golden and crisp. Keep warm.
- Beat cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth. Add maple syrup and powdered sugar and beat until combined.
