Description

Tangy, creamy, and perfectly sweet, these Key Lime Bars are a refreshing citrus dessert with a buttery graham cracker crust and a silky lime filling.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
For the Filling:
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice
  • 1 tbsp lime zest

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
  • In a bowl, whisk egg yolks, condensed milk, lime juice, and zest.
  • Pour over crust and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing.

Notes

  • Substitute regular lime juice if key limes are unavailable.
