For the Cake:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
For the Honey Glaze:
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Prepare the Batter: Mix flour, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, whisk honey, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and milk. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
- Bake: Pour into a greased pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes. Let cool.
- Make the Honey Glaze: Simmer honey, butter, and cream until thickened.
- Assemble & Serve: Pour the glaze over the cake and let it soak in.
Notes
- Decorate with edible flowers or nuts for a fancier look.
