Description

Honey Glazed Chicken Thighs with Fresh Herbs is a succulent and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken coated in a sweet, sticky glaze and infused with the aroma of fresh herbs. It’s a simple yet elegant recipe ideal for both weeknight family dinners and special gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
  3. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  4. Place chicken thighs in a baking dish or oven-safe skillet, skin side up.
  5. Brush or pour the honey glaze over the chicken, coating evenly.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, basting once or twice with the pan juices, until the chicken is cooked through and skin is golden.
  7. If desired, broil for an additional 2–3 minutes for extra caramelization.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

  • Use boneless thighs for quicker cooking but reduce bake time.
  • Substitute dried herbs if fresh are not available (use 1 tsp each).
  • Pairs well with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated for up to 3 days.
