Description

Honey Glazed Beef Bites is a flavorful and satisfying dish featuring tender beef cubes coated in a sticky, sweet-savory honey glaze. Served alongside creamy pasta or rice, it creates a balanced, crowd-pleasing meal perfect for weeknights or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 400g beef sirloin or tenderloin, cut into cubes
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • pasta, rice, or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut beef into uniform bite-sized cubes for even cooking.
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger (if using). Set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Add beef cubes in a single layer, sear each side until browned. Cook in batches if necessary.
  5. Once beef is browned and nearly cooked through, pour in honey-soy mixture.
  6. Reduce heat to medium and toss beef in sauce. Simmer, stirring often, until sauce thickens into a sticky glaze.
  7. Season with black pepper and red pepper flakes if desired.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions.
  9. Serve hot over pasta, rice, or noodles.

Notes

  • Add sriracha or chili paste for a spicier version.
  • Stir in fresh lime or orange juice for a citrus twist.
  • Top with chopped cilantro or Thai basil for added aroma.
  • Toss in vegetables like snap peas or bell peppers during the last few minutes of cooking.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat gently with a splash of water.
