Description

Honey Glazed Baked Chicken Drumsticks are oven-roasted to golden perfection and coated in a sticky-sweet glaze made with honey, soy sauce, and garlic. A quick and flavorful main dish for weeknights or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 23 lbs chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon or orange juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • Sliced oranges or lemons (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with foil and lightly grease it.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, citrus juice, olive oil, and mustard if using.
  3. Pat chicken drumsticks dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Arrange drumsticks in the prepared dish and pour the glaze over them, coating well.
  5. Bake for 35–45 minutes, turning once halfway through, until chicken is cooked and glaze is caramelized.
  6. Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end to deepen the glaze if desired.
  7. Garnish with citrus slices and serve hot.
