Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Pork Tenderloin:

  • 11.5 lbs pork tenderloin
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or rice vinegar)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

For Garnish:

  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pork:
    • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper.
    • Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork on all sides until golden brown (about 2–3 minutes per side).
  2. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and smoked paprika.
  3. Glaze and Bake:
    • Pour the honey garlic sauce over the seared pork tenderloin.
    • Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°F (63°C). Baste the pork with the sauce every 5 minutes to enhance the flavor.
  4. Rest and Serve:
    • Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
    • Drizzle with the remaining sauce from the skillet and garnish with fresh parsley and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add ½ tsp red chili flakes to the sauce.
  • Pair with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days
