Description

Honey Garlic Grilled Chicken Breasts are juicy, flavorful, and perfectly charred chicken breasts marinated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce. Ideal for summer grilling or a quick weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over the chicken. Seal and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to 8 hours).
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and let excess drip off. Discard marinade.
  5. Grill chicken for 6–7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.

Notes

  • Marinate longer for more intense flavor.
  • Can be grilled, baked, or cooked on a stovetop grill pan.
  • Serve with rice, grilled veggies, or a fresh salad.
