For the Salmon:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Chopped parsley for garnish
For the Fries:
- 4 medium russet potatoes, cut into fries
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the fries: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the fries with oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until crispy.
- Cook the salmon: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for 3-4 minutes per side.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Pour over the salmon and let it cook for another 2 minutes until the glaze thickens.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with crispy fries.
Notes
- For extra crispy fries, soak the cut potatoes in water for 30 minutes before baking.
- Substitute fries with steamed veggies for a healthier option.
