Description

This honey garlic glazed salmon is perfectly seared and coated in a sweet and savory sauce. Served with crispy golden fries, it’s a restaurant-quality meal made at home!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Salmon:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

For the Fries:

  • 4 medium russet potatoes, cut into fries
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the fries: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the fries with oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until crispy.
  • Cook the salmon: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for 3-4 minutes per side.
  • In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Pour over the salmon and let it cook for another 2 minutes until the glaze thickens.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with crispy fries.

Notes

  • For extra crispy fries, soak the cut potatoes in water for 30 minutes before baking.
  • Substitute fries with steamed veggies for a healthier option.
