- 500g chicken thighs or breast, cubed
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, broccoli)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté chicken until golden and cooked through.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in honey and soy sauce. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until sauce thickens slightly. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Steam or sauté mixed vegetables until tender-crisp.
- Serve chicken and sauce over a bed of rice with vegetables on the side.
Notes
- Top with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for extra flavor.
