- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 6 slices deli ham
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tsp dried parsley or Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread Dijon mustard evenly over the pastry, if using.
- Layer ham slices evenly over the pastry, followed by shredded cheese.
- Starting from one edge, tightly roll the puff pastry into a log.
- Slice the roll into about 12 even pieces.
- Place pinwheels on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up.
- Brush tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with dried herbs if desired.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
