Description

This Grilled Steak & Shrimp is the ultimate surf-and-turf meal! Juicy, perfectly seasoned steak and tender, garlic butter shrimp are grilled to perfection and served with flavorful sides for a restaurant-quality dish at home.


Ingredients

For the Steak:

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

For the Shrimp:

  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For Garnish:

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  • Prepare the Steak:
    • Rub steaks with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
    • Let them sit at room temperature for 20 minutes.
  • Prepare the Shrimp:
    • Toss shrimp with melted butter, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Grill the Steak:
    • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
    • Grill steaks for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare or 6-7 minutes for medium doneness.
    • Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Grill the Shrimp:
    • Place shrimp on skewers or use a grill basket.
    • Grill for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
    • Drizzle with lemon juice.
  • Serve & Enjoy:
    • Arrange steak and shrimp on a plate.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
