For the Steak:
- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
For the Shrimp:
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
For Garnish:
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges
Instructions
- Prepare the Steak:
- Rub steaks with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Let them sit at room temperature for 20 minutes.
- Prepare the Shrimp:
- Toss shrimp with melted butter, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Grill the Steak:
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill steaks for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare or 6-7 minutes for medium doneness.
- Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Grill the Shrimp:
- Place shrimp on skewers or use a grill basket.
- Grill for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Drizzle with lemon juice.
- Serve & Enjoy:
- Arrange steak and shrimp on a plate.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
