Description

  • 1.5 kg chicken wings (drumettes and flats)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar (optional for added sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (375°F to 400°F).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
  3. Place wings on the grill, cover, and cook for 20–25 minutes, turning occasionally, until skin is crisp and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Brush wings with BBQ sauce during the final 5 minutes of cooking, turning to coat all sides. Cook uncovered to allow the sauce to caramelize.
