- 2 tbsp ground pistachios or pistachio paste
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)
- 2 tbsp crushed pistachios (for garnish)
- Fresh mint or basil leaves (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
- Prepare a pistachio dip by mixing pistachio milk or liqueur with a bit of sugar.
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the pistachio mixture and place in a single layer in a dish.
- In a bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
- Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the first layer of dipped ladyfingers.
- Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers.
- Spread the remaining mascarpone cream on top.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with crushed pistachios.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
