Description

Green & White Tiramisu is a modern twist on the classic Italian dessert, featuring layers of mascarpone cream and pistachio-soaked ladyfingers. This no-bake treat is rich, nutty, and visually striking—perfect for entertaining or indulging.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 package ladyfinger biscuits (Savoiardi)
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup pistachio milk or pistachio liqueur
  • 1 tbsp sugar (for pistachio dip)
  • 2 tbsp ground pistachios or pistachio paste
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)
  • 2 tbsp crushed pistachios (for garnish)
  • Fresh mint or basil leaves (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare a pistachio dip by mixing pistachio milk or liqueur with a bit of sugar.
  2. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the pistachio mixture and place in a single layer in a dish.
  3. In a bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the first layer of dipped ladyfingers.
  7. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers.
  8. Spread the remaining mascarpone cream on top.
  9. Dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with crushed pistachios.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

  • Chill the mixing bowls and beaters beforehand for best results when whipping cream.
  • Use pistachio paste for a more intense nutty flavor.
  • Make it ahead for easy serving at events.
  • Use pistachio milk instead of liqueur for a kid-friendly version.
