- 16 oz golden sandwich cookies (like Golden Oreos)
- 6 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup green candy melts
- Heart-shaped candy decorations
Instructions
- Add the golden sandwich cookies to a food processor and pulse until finely crushed.
- Mix in softened cream cheese until a smooth dough forms.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Freeze the truffles for about 15–20 minutes until firm.
- Melt green candy melts in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Dip each truffle in the melted candy coating, fully covering it, and place back on the baking sheet.
- While the coating is still wet, place a candy heart on top of each truffle.
- Let the truffles set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.
Notes
- You can use different color candy melts and decorations for other themes or holidays.
- Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened to blend smoothly with the cookies.
