Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron and lightly grease with cooking spray or butter.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined (a few lumps are okay).
- Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer instructions, usually 3-5 minutes, until golden and crisp.
- Serve warm with butter, syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream.

- For extra crispy waffles, let them rest on a wire rack instead of stacking them.
