Ingredients

2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast

1 cup warm milk

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup melted butter

1 egg

3 cups flour

Zest of 1 lemon

Lemon glaze (powdered sugar + lemon juice)

Instructions

Combine yeast, warm milk, and sugar. Let sit 5 min.

Add butter, egg, flour, salt, and lemon zest. Knead into dough.

Let rise until doubled, roll out and fill with lemon sugar mixture.

Roll into a log, slice, and arrange in baking dish.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 min.
