- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Mix in molasses and vanilla extract.
- Add flour, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt, and baking soda. Mix until combined.
- Roll into small balls and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until set. Let cool slightly.
- Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar and let cool completely.
