Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Filling:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or any cheese of choice)

For the Dough:

  • 1 (16-ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough

For the Garlic Parmesan Butter:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  • Cook the Ground Beef:
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease and set aside to cool slightly.
  • Prepare the Dough:
    • Separate the biscuit dough into individual pieces. Flatten each piece slightly using your hands or a rolling pin to form a small circle.
  • Assemble the Cheeseburger Bombs:
    • Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the cooked beef mixture in the center of each dough circle. Add a sprinkle of shredded cheese on top of the beef.
    • Fold the edges of the dough around the filling and pinch to seal, forming a ball. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Make the Garlic Parmesan Butter:
    • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, and parsley.
  • Brush and Bake:
    • Brush the garlic Parmesan butter generously over each dough ball. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve:
    • Let the bombs cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with ketchup, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

  • Add a slice of pickle or a dollop of mustard to the filling for a classic cheeseburger flavor.
  • Substitute ground turkey or plant-based meat for a healthier or vegetarian option.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven for best results.
