Description

Garlic Herb Glazed Meatballs are savory, juicy meatballs infused with aromatic herbs and coated in a glossy garlic-soy glaze. Perfect as appetizers or a flavorful main dish.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (or a mix of beef and pork)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely grated or minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix just until combined.
  2. Roll into evenly sized meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook, turning to brown all sides, for 8–10 minutes until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and vinegar or lemon juice. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return meatballs to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the glaze.
  6. Garnish with chopped fresh thyme or rosemary before serving.

Notes

  • Use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • Add red pepper flakes to the glaze for a spicy version.
  • Stuff meatballs with mozzarella for a cheesy surprise.
  • Bake meatballs at 400°F (200°C) if preferred over frying.
  • Make ahead and freeze raw or cooked meatballs for convenience.
